Rolocost Authenticator is a two-factor authentication (2FA) application that stores and displays authentication codes locally on your device. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles data. In short: the app does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.

Rolocost Authenticator:
- Does not collect or store any personal information.
- Does not transmit any data to servers or third parties.
- Does not use analytics, advertising, or third-party SDKs that collect user data.
- Does not share information with any third party.
All 2FA secrets and codes remain stored locally on your device only, under your control.
3. Device Permissions
The app requests and uses the following device permissions strictly for core functionality:
- Camera — used to scan QR codes when adding new 2FA accounts.
- Biometric authentication (fingerprint/face) — used to protect access to the app and its contents on your device.
No permissions are used for collecting or transmitting personal data.
4. Offline Operation
Rolocost Authenticator is designed to operate fully offline:
- The app does not require an internet connection to function.
- The app does not sync or back up data to cloud services or external servers.
- There is no server-side component maintained by Rolocost Interactive, LLC that receives or stores your 2FA data.
5. Export & Import
The app provides an option to export 2FA entries to Google Authenticator format. This export/import process occurs locally on your device. Rolocost Authenticator does not receive, transmit, or store the exported information.
6. Security
All 2FA secrets and codes are stored locally and protected by device storage protections and optional biometric lock provided by the device. Rolocost Authenticator itself does not have access to any data outside the device and cannot retrieve or transmit your 2FA data.
7. Children’s Privacy
This app does not collect personal information from children or adults. The app contains no features targeted at children.
8. Changes to This Policy
If we update this Privacy Policy, the revised version will be published here with a new "Last updated" date. Any significant changes will be reflected by updating the date shown at the top of this document.
